ARROW EXHAUST RACE TECH 71945 RACE-TECH The Race-Tech muffler was the first diamond-shaped exhaust that in recent years has replaced the "old style" of traditional cylindrical or elliptical exhausts. The innovative shape of the diamond design made Arrow able to reduce the measurements of the traditional shape, while maintaining the same outlines. This allowed Arrow to decrease weight without affecting internal volume and to keep noise levels within acceptable limits without interfering with performance. The internal components of the mufflers are made of stainless steel and coupled with TIG technology welding. All “wet” sections (those where there is gas flow) are kept under strict dimensional control to optimize gas flow. A very important feature is the rear termination and the gas outlet: these components are designed to optimize the turbulence-free gas flow outlet, reducing the negative effects of pressure. The Race-Tech line silencers are available in the homologated version for almost all motorcycles. These silencers are made of titanium, carbon fiber or aluminum. For some bikes the titanium muffler is also available with the new carbon fiber finish.
