The most significant new feature of the 17RCS CORSA CORTA is that it offers the rider the possibility of adapting the position of the braking attack point, "bite point", to his riding preferences, by means of an easily accessible selector located on the top of the pump.

ONE PUMP, THREE MAPS : The selector, via a cam mechanism, allows the user to choose between three different response settings. With the Normal setting, identified on the pump by the letter N, the position of the point of attack ensures a more gradual initial phase and is therefore suitable for city driving or braking in low-grip conditions. With the Sport setting, identified on the pump with the letter S, the beginning of the point of attack is shorter than in the N setting. This setting offers a more dynamic response, suitable for sportier driving. Finally, in the Race configuration, identified on the pump with the letter R, the position of the cam mechanism allows the initial phase of the point of attack to be further reduced, to produce an immediate response, just like on MotoGP brake pumps. In this way, the rider can obtain the braking point of attack immediately. This setting is ideal for riding with a strong racing feel, where shaving hundredths of a second off the braking is important. By simply switching from one type of setting to another, the rider can vary the response and braking feel of the bike immediately and predictably.
